The Northern India Chapter focuses on the states of New Delhi, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. The Chapter was launched by the Australian High Commissioner to India, the Hon. Barry O’Farrell in May 2022 at the Taj Palace, New Delhi.

An alumnus of the Doon School, India and Leeds University Business School, United
Kingdom. After a stint in the banking sector in United Kingdom, Rituraj joined SIS Group in
2002
Over the last two decades, he has been instrumental in shaping the exponential growth of
SIS Group enterprises from an INR 25 Crores Indian man guarding company to an INR
11,346 Crores company in FY’23; Market Leader in Security, Facility Management &
Cash Logistics Solutions, with operations across India, Australia, Singapore and New
Zealand.
Over the years, Rituraj has built a reputation for himself in the global security and business
support services industry by forging alliances and partnerships with global market leaders.
He has also been the architect of game changing transactions. In 2007, he closed the first
private equity investment transaction in the Indian security sector. He also received
recognition for orchestrating the first cross border acquisition in the Indian security
sector in 2008, when SIS group made the landmark acquisition of Australia’s largest private
security company (Chubb). In August 2017, he successfully listed SIS on the public stock
exchanges, thereby marking the first IPO by a Security, Facility Management & Cash
Logistics company in India
Rituraj has led SIS to be a ‘socially responsible business enterprise’. Across multiple
subsidiary companies of the group, SIS imparts skill development through 20 residential
training centres spread across 15 states in the country. Committed to the cause of Skill
Development and creation of job opportunities for youth from less privileged backgrounds,
rural parts of the country and particularly from SC/ST/BPL sections of our society, SIS Group
provides 2,83,000+ permanent employment opportunities.
In recognition of his exceptional abilities, Rituraj has been featured as YOUNG TURKS by
CNBC. He has also been covered by several publications of repute including FORBES
magazine and India Today. Rituraj actively engages with the government on issues related
to the private security industry and its vast workforce. He is a regular speaker at Industry
forums in India and overseas. He is currently the Chair of the FICCI Private Security Sector
Committee and Board of Director with Global Security Industry Ligue headquartered in
Switzerland. In recognition of his efforts, he was appointed as a Member of the Central
Advisory Board, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India in 2017 and
on High Level Expert Committee, Ministry of Defence, Government of India in 2021. He
is also on the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodhgaya.
Mr. Madhav Singhania

Mr. Madhavkrishna Singhania has over a decade of experience in the cement industry and is currently the Dy. MD & CEO of JK Cement Ltd. Having a keen interest in technology and automation, he has led new capacity expansion projects that have increased the grey cement manufacturing capacity from 7.5 MTPA in 2010 to 20.5 MTPA in 2022. His ambitious expansion plans have seen the Company’s footprint expand across the Country.
Mr. Singhania has led the Company’s Sustainability initiatives, which has won the company several awards and accolades in the areas of energy efficiency, safety and green manufacturing. He has also been instrumental in setting up of the Company's maiden overseas plant in Fujairah, UAE, making JKCement one of the leading manufacturers of white cement, globally and is the Dy. MD of JK Cement Works (Fujairah) FZC.
He has been spearheading the growth agenda for JKCement, and under his leadership, has taken great strides in transforming JKCement into a modern, multinational organization whose roots are steeped in a rich history and proud legacy.
He led the foray into the Paints business through the acquisition of Acro Paints and has successfully integrated this to the White Cement and Putty business.
He is on the Board of Management for Sir Padampat Singhania University in Rajasthan.
He is currently the Deputy Chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region and Chairman, Cement Division at CII Green Building Centre.
He is the President of Uttar Pradesh Squash Association.
He is the Lifetime member of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association.
He is leading the Innovation Taskforce in the Development Council of Cement Industry setup by DPIIT.
He is Executive Member, Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce

Mr. Rohit Kochhar is the Founding Member & Managing Partner of Kochhar & Co. (the “Firm”) and has rich and diverse professional experience of over 35 years. During this calendar year, Mr. Kochhar has represented some of the most prestigious global corporations on highly sensitive employment matters, including the termination of CXOs and other members of senior leadership, as well as redundancies of blue-collar employees. These clients include one of the world’s largest film and entertainment companies, one of the largest retail companies in Europe, a multi-billion dollar French company, and the world’s largest insurance advisory company.
Mr. Kochhar is one of the founding members of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) and currently serves as the Honorary Secretary of SILF.
Mr. Kochhar has been consistently acclaimed as one of India’s top lawyers and is amongst the most decorated legal luminaries in the country. During the last three years, Forbes Magazine has ranked Mr. Kochhar as one of India’s top managing partners. He was also recognised as one of “The Super 50 lawyers of India” by Asian Legal Business (a Thomson Reuters publication).
