21st Business

Mission to

12-17 August, 2024

The Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce, has in the past 35 years, led 20 Business Missions to Australia, helping over 500 companies, to explore the market, gain exposure to the Australian business culture as well as establish long-term business relations and partnerships with Australian companies.

India-Australia relations are at an all-time high and the economic partnership between India and Australia has never been more promising. India is Australia’s sixth-largest trading partner and businesses in both countries are already benefitting from the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade agreement that came into force in December 2022.  The bilateral trade in goods and services has crossed $48 billion.  As per reports, India’s exports to Australia grew 14% YoY between April-November 2023. Australia and India are now negotiating a bilateral Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA).  Our Chamber is committed to facilitating and maximising the new opportunities for business/collaboration in the bilateral space, for all our members.

Our 21st Business Mission to Australia is a multi-sectoral delegation. This seven-day (three-city) program in Australia will comprise of a Welcome reception hosted by Trade and Investment Queensland, a high-level market briefing by the Australian Government/industry, site visits, industry roundtables followed by networking, bespoke 1-1 meetings, and select IABCA programs. Delegates will have the opportunity to meet with potential customers, partners and network with senior stakeholders representing Government and business.
